Another long-a-coming update for www.studio-oridomain.com. Seven new illustrations which won’t be shown at my free access DA Gallery. Something of a Nylons and Transport theme going on here. In Display Dummy! # 3 and # 4 the miscreant continues to suffer ‘imploring immobility’ in the Hosiery Salon display window, much to the amusement of passing Oridomain Matrons, whilst a second miscreant awaits an unknown fate at the hands of the vengeful salon-coated Manageress and her Saleslady assistants. Stay tuned, but hopefully you won’t have a year to wait this time.
The Nylons theme continues with Perfect Nylons! where a VIP Customer considers her choice of stockings with the encouragement of a Salon Saleslady. This is a high-end establishment offering the finest and most expensive Nylons – proper Nylons too, sheer and silky, requiring suspenders. The fashion may be gone, replaced by the unedifying trend of bare legs ( ugh!) but not in Oridomain where no self-respecting Matron would be without a hundred or more pairs to choose from and never seen out and about without them. This Hosiery Salon charges enough for its Nylons to allow VIP customers to try them on in the privacy of well-appointed cubicles, wherein they find stocking obsessed supplicants suitably objectified for their convenience and who may ‘look but not touch’!
In Man-nequin! another unfortunate miscreant (‘the world is full of naughty boys!’) is transformed into a stringently bound, gagged and pink candy floss be-wigged dummy to display a fetching blue nappa leather, tie-belted coat dress and matching heels. This humiliation is grimly approved by the formidable establishment owner and her assistant as they depart for the weekend, accompanied by their personal handbag caddy slaves who are so on trend for Oridomain Matrons.
From Nylons to a leather coat factory retail outlet where a bored Saleslady takes her Tea Break! in the back room, served by a skirted slave-maid who is expected to kneel and hold up the tray for her convenience while she relaxes, a kind of human side table. There is an unusual coat and handbag stand in there too, who dare not let the bell ring! The Saleslady is indifferent to their ordeals, more interested in the magazine she leafs through.
The transport theme begins with Omnibus! No fossil fuel in Oridomain and the fully loaded public omnibus requires extra ‘mules’ to the usual six in harness for a long journey from one town to the next. The bland Matronly drivers in their 1960’s style leather sheath coats are expert at encouraging alacrity with their whips.
And finally another peek into that strange Matriarchal planet New Babylon and its bizarre transport arrangements in Carriages!. No fossil fuel there either and blue chip bigwigs have been kidnapped and put to honest work as draught animals – ‘mules’ – a situation and ordeal in which any minor gesture of rebellion or disobedience is prevented by leather restraint gowns and tight straps! A high-heeled shoe strapped on top of their discipline hoods is symbolic of their status as women’s slaves. However it must be noted that many of these captives find their predicament exciting, leading to the suspicion that they have been very carefully chosen by their new Mistresses.
